“This has been an incredibly challenging time for all of our community,” said Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery General Manager Mr. Hani Akkari. “We are so pleased to be opening our popular venues to the public. We recognise that because of COVID-19 and concerns surrounding the pandemic, our guests’ priorities have changed – we have adapted to accommodate this and have confirmed and enhanced our hygiene and safety standards.”

Mr. Akkari said as part of the Accor Group, “Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery has adopted some of the most stringent and innovative hygiene and safety standards in the region… The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to change the way we live, work and stay. And as the largest hotel group in the region, we are taking the lead in reinventing the hospitality experience, introducing dedicated ‘ALL Safe Officers’ and a rigorous programme of transparent measures that give guests peace of mind and put their health first, which is what they now value most.”

This programme also includes enhanced disinfection regimes and a dedicated hotline to help guests prepare for their stay and to answer questions or address concerns. Among other measures, the hotel will be enforcing a two-meter social distancing rule in public spaces and venues, temperature control points and all guests will be required to show the EHTERAZ app before they enter the hotel as well as wearing a mask.

“We are also working with the relevant authorities to ensure we follow their guidelines as part of the phased re-opening of Qatar,” Mr. Akkari said. “We look forward to welcoming our guests back to the most exciting and dynamic hotel in the city.”
