InterContinental Doha and Loop Mobility has partnered together to bring its guests short distance commuting options around the West Bay area. These dockless e-scooters by Loop Mobility that are seen scattered around Corniche and West Bay can now be found at InterContinental Doha.

Guests can simply download the Loop app, register, and using a credit card, the user can choose among the three plans from Basic (25QR), Advanced (50QR), and Pro (100QR). Once registered, the guest can scan the QR code on the e-scooter to unlock and use it. First time users receive five minutes for free and a succeeding 0.75QR per minute after.

This alternative form of transportation or new leisure activity for Doha’s residents is now slowly gaining popularity. “As the weather cools down, now is the perfect period to spend more time outdoors and we are delighted to partner with Loop Mobility to encourage our guests in more leisurely outdoor activities that are environmental friendly,” says Fridtjof Schenk, Director of Rooms of InterContinental Doha.

Three rechargeable e-scooters are located in InterContinental Doha for its guests to conveniently use. Among the app are features such as locating the nearest e-scooter to you, how to use the e-scooter, and additional safety reminders as well as distance travelled indicators and estimated number of calories burned by the user.
