Msheireb Downtown Doha hosts the sport exhibition  at Sikkat Wadi Msheireb

The event was organized by Sea Shore and Al Hosh Gallery


Msheireb Downtown Doha, the smartest and most sustainable city district in the world, announced hosting a sport exhibition organized by Sea Shore Group and Al Hosh Gallery at Sikkat Alwadi until 20th February.

Sponsored by Msheireb Properties, the exhibition aims to shed the light on the Qatari sport in the past and the present and introduces the current generations to the big achievements and encourage them to follow healthy lifestyle and pursue their sports careers.

Open daily from 10 AM until 9 PM, the exhibition adopts the highest standards of precautionary measures to secure safety to visitors and staff. Visitors should register their names first at the registration desk at the entrance and wait for their turn to enter based on the capacity of the exhibition and to maintain social distance among them. They should always also show Ehtiraz App green code and wear masks.

Participating in the exhibition are the Qatar Ministry of Defense, and group of Qatari artists and sportspeople, including Sultan Al Jassem, the sport documentarian who will display a selection of photos and portraits documenting history of sports in Qatar and reviving the collective memory of Qataris to remind them with their achievements. Artist Ahmed Al Maadeed is displaying artistic portraits around sport. In addition, the exhibition will display sport equipment and tools used by Qatari sportspeople during their sport journey, including Mohamad Al Thani, the well-known climber who conquered the world summits, Mutaz Barshim, the high jump athlete and Olympic champion, the sport figure Asma Althani, Ali Bin Towar Alkuwari Qatari traveler and athlete in addition to Abdulla Al Khulaifi – the drag race champion.

Organized on Qatar National Sports Day, the sport exhibition at Msheireb Downtown Doha inspires people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and accomplish their sport dreams and overcome any challenges they might face in their life.
