NOZOMI, the multi-award winning contemporary Japanese restaurant, founded in Knightsbridge, London, has extended to the first floor of its restaurant. Located in the lush surroundings of Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel, the upstairs terrace, has magnificent views of the Arabian Gulf and the ever-evolving Doha skyline, which has reopened with a fresh and comfortable new look.

The event witnessed the attendance of socialites, VIPs, media, and influencers. Sponsored by Rolls Royce, guests arrived in luxury in chauffeured driven cars, while Guerlain, offered 150 gift bags in addition to spa vouchers. The event was also sponsored by Red Bull and Al Fardan Sources.

NOZOMI’s expansion comes as the restaurant introduces its new ‘Sushi Bar Omakase Dining’ to their loyal customers. Since its foundation in September of 2015, the Doha-based celebrity hotspot has received a number of awards and accolades in hospitality each year, including ‘Best Japanese Restaurant’ at the Doha TimeOut Awards and ‘The Best Luxury Restaurant in Doha, Qatar’ award by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2019.

The Sushi Bar Omakase Dining experience offers guests the service of highly skilled chefs who will entertain them with their artistic performance as they prefer their favourite Sushi combinations.

The original inspiration for Nozomi was a fusion of entertainment and dinning, with the aim to offer a unique lifestyle experience. Its culinary style is best described as contemporary Japanese infused with European subtleties.

Marios Georges, NOZOMI Founder, said: “Our philosophy is to combine a fine dining experience with a genuine entertainment feel. Our ambition is to open NOZOMI restaurants all over the world, and that’s why expanding our Doha restaurant was crucial to realizing this vision.”

NOZOMI Doha offers 90 seats downstairs in the restaurant, and an additional 62 on the outdoor patio. The upstairs restaurant features 36 seats, eight on the new sushi bar, and another 44 on the terrace. Both floors have outdoor seating with stunning views over the palatial hotel and the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf.

NOZOMI is known for its comprehensive selection of sushi, its famous Black Cod and tender Wagyu beef, and its world class lobster as well as delicious tempura selections and vegetarian and vegan dishes. Reservations are required for weekends and for Omakase dining. Sushi Bar dining is available for up to eight people per sitting.
