Qatar Museums attracts artistic talents and offers suitable professional training for AMAN’s beneficiaries

Qatar Museums (QM) and the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) signed a memorandum of cooperation to rehabilitate and reintegrate children who fall victim to violence and family disintegration into society. The two institutions will join their efforts and strengthen bilateral cooperation in pursuit of the shared objectives of supporting children and providing youth with the best appropriate care.


The three-year agreement was signed by Mr. Ahmad Musa Al-Namla, CEO, Qatar Museums, and Mrs. Mariam Bint Ali Bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Executive Director of AMAN.

In line with the agreement, QM will seek to offer suitable and professional training to empower the Center’s beneficiaries to join the job market. QM will also support scholarship applications sponsored by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs while endorsing artistic talents at AMAN as well as any other activity that the two parties deem necessary to achieve their objectives.

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Al-Namla said: “Qatar Museums seeks to discover and attract local artistic and creative talents and works on supporting and developing these talents to broaden the creative horizons of community members who contribute to Qatar’s rich artistic scene.

“We are pleased to cooperate with AMAN Center to offer scholarship and job training to beneficiaries of the Center’s services in a bid to guarantee youth a decent life and a bright professional future in line with our social responsibility principles.”

For her part, Mrs. Al-Misnad said: “We at AMAN Centre are so keen to open horizons of cooperation with various sectors in the state whose paths and goals meet ours towards serving AMAN’s target groups”. Mrs. Maryam stressed the importance of promoting cooperation bonds between AMAN Centre and Qatar Museums, seeking to realize common goals of supporting children and providing suitable care in the best possible ways.
She also added that Signing off an MOC will contribute in promoting social responsibility and increases horizons of creativity of all individuals in our society, sprung from its social responsibility mandate. Furthermore, this MOU is expected to have a positive impact on community members, particularly in terms of creating a safety net for target groups who will gain access to job opportunities and professional training, while also supporting artistic talents.
Ms. Maryam reaffirmed the keenness of civil society organizations to provide and develop the best services for the target groups, continuously.
