If there’s one thing that is unanimously associated with Qatar, it is the spectacular beach life that we have here. Amongst the 13 beaches that we all know and love, Sealine Beach truly stands out. The resort holds a special place in our hearts as it was the first experience of beach life for many of our team and most of us still remember spending the most romantic staycations at this very spot. The sun going down and reflecting on the dreamy Arabian Sea as you witness one of the most glorious views of your life, is a sight you won’t quickly forget. As you prepare to BBQ in the private garden of the chalet, bask in the silent surroundings that makes for an awe-inspiring moment indeed!

The day we arrived at the resort; the hospitality proved to be exceptional as expected! We were instantly introduced to the team who would be taking care of us over the weekend and chose our activities. A quick tour of the resort made us reminisce about the last time we were here – a stroll down memory lane and we’re in love with this place all over again. Two outdoor pools, the Inara Spa, private beach access and VIP services were all at our disposal on these days and we appreciated how the local shuttle was available to transfer us back to the city.

Being the adventurous family that we are, we opted to try out the jet skis, dragon boating and then the face-off boat. To say that we thoroughly enjoyed dunking each other in the sea was the highlight of our trip. Sandy dunes waited for us shortly after. Doha Bus organised the entire sand dune experience, and although there’s the option of riding on the bus, we chose to go for the good-old, four-wheel Land Cruiser. The choice is yours.

As for the food, the gourmet dining outlets promise a unique culinary experience at all four of the restaurants. Some of the highlights included the onemetre-long pizza at La Merenda. A personal favourite would have to be the 24-hour in-room dining service which is the ideal fit when you’re here to relax and simply binge on late-night Netflix series.

Qatar’s first leisure destination, Sealine Beach, A Murwab Resort, is the perfect place to get in some fun with the family as the exceptional team makes sure they’re prompt and flexible for all your needs. A place that is associated with laughter and timeless memories, the resort reminded us of all the good times and further impressed us with the state-of-the-art activities.
