Alfardan Automobiles, Qatar’s official importer of BMW Group vehicles, introduces the newest BMW 5 Series to the market.

The vehicle boasts a heightened sense of outward authority, an interior brimming with detailed refinements and a host of efficiency-enhancing features, reinforcing its position at the premium end of the executive class.

The exterior is defined by eye-catching design accents, clearly structured surfaces at the front and rear, and a newly redesigned BMW kidney grille. Additionally, the vehicle’s LED headlights incorporate slimmer contours, a three-dimensional sculpted rear light and trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe finishers.

The model flaunts the M Sport package with new muscular design features and model-specific accents, as well as the new light-alloy wheels in 18-to 20-inch formats. The option to upgrade to the 20-inch BMW Individual Air Performance Wheels is also available for the first time.

The BMW 5 Series’ interior details have been slightly refined. Controls on the centre console are now finished in High-Gloss Black, and the interior trim strips have been updated. Adding style and comfort, the new Sensatec perforated trim variant for the seat surfaces and M multifunction seats subtly enhance the model.

Known for its state-of-the-art technology, the newest BMW 5 Series comes with an optional 12.3-inch Control Display (10.25-inch Control Display now standard), automatic climate control with extended features and a sports leather steering wheel with newly arranged multifunction buttons.

Paving the way for automated driving, the Driver Assistance system, optional Parking Assistant, and extended functions assist with important, but monotonous tasks and enables automated driving in situations such as traffic jams or on long journeys.

The BMW Maps feature, a cloud-based navigation system offering extremely fast and precise calculation of routes and arrival times, is now integrated into the model’s technology for the first time ever.

The BMW 5 Series is available in three variants the 520i, 530i and 540i. Under the hood, the BMW models are fitted with a BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology and two four-cylinder petrol units, which provide an ultimate driving experience.

The models are connected to BMW’s Eight-Speed Steptronic transmission, allowing the 520i to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds reaching a top speed of 226 km/h, and the 530i and 540i to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.4 and 5.2 seconds, respectively, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
