Year of Culture has launched a photography Open Call online photography to celebrate Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020.

To pursue its initiatives of building creative bridges between nations that connect people through cultural programs, Years of Culture has launched a photography Open Call inviting creators to share their photographs that reflect French and Qatari features. This Open Call is for all professionals and amateurs.

This program will give the public creative ways during this time to put together a different and unique perspective together. As for the selected talents, this Open Call will offer them a platform to gain exposure and new audiences. This is for talents that work with photography and present new ways of looking at France and Qatar. Anyone who has photographs that give a creative perspective to French and/or Qatari features are welcome to submit their work

Any photographer can submit their work on the webpage of Year of Culture and upload their photographs. The Years of Culture team will publish and tag the selected creators on the Years of Culture Instagram page. All the submitted pictures should be sent alongside a short description explaining how they relate to France and/or Qatar.

The “Year of Culture” is a cultural exchange programme that aims to convey Qatar to an international audience through a variety of exhibitions, festivals, competitions and events, to promote mutual understanding, recognition and appreciation between countries.
