Doha Festival City Launches Fashion Month with a Star-Studded Line Up

To celebrate fashion and beauty and its host of retailers, Doha Festival City will mark the month of November with an exclusive Fashion Festival


For three consecutive weekends, Doha Festival City’s centre court will be transformed into a runway, showcasing la crème de la crème of the Mall’s exclusive retailers and latest collections

Doha Festival City, Qatar’s one and only choice for shopping, dining, and entertainment, will host a unique Fashion Month this November. The stage will be set for its myriad of fashion retailers across women’s and men’s, offering them the platform to showcase their latest Autumn/Winter collections available in Qatar to fashion lovers and shoppers at the Mall.

Each Thursday and Friday, between November 12 and 27, Doha Festival City will host three consecutive shows starting at 7pm, 7:30 pm and 8:05 pm at the Centre Court on the ground floor.

As part of Doha Festival City’s commitment to offering unique and engaging experiences, the Fashion Month will invite guests to immerse themselves into the heart of the fashion and beauty industry, and explore the latest collections that are currently on display from local and global retailers at the Mall.

In line with the government’s guidelines, the fashion shows will host a limited number of VIP guests; however, all of Doha Festival City’ customers will be able to watch the shows live streamed online, and see recaps on digital screens available throughout the Mall. A selection of retailers will also showcase their Fall/Winter collections in glass pods located in several areas across the Mall.

On Thursday, November 12, By Nour Couture will star in the first show with exquisite and sophisticated dresses for special occasions. Boggi, Italian specialist of men’s high-end suits, will present its latest collection during the 7:30pm show. The grand finale of the first day will feature world celebrated designer Fouad Sarkis brand, showcasing their spectacular evening gowns.

Shows on Friday, November 13 will be dedicated to the Arabian fashion lovers with Lamsat Harayer, and Louzan showcasing the pearls of their latest collections of abayas and sheilas. NU, contemporary and minimalistic women clothes retailer, will close the day with its new, abstractionism-inspired colourful collection.

The second week of the shows will kick-off with the high-end fashion retailer Harvey Nichols, and shed light on its exclusive women and men collections through three dedicated fashion shows on November 19.

On Friday, November 20, the fashion program will start with Hong-Kong-based multi-brand retailer G2000. The second show will feature Sacoor brothers, Portuguese luxury clothing retailer will present its exclusive Fall/Winter offering for men and women. MACHKA, Turkish brand of elegant women clothes for office and special occasions, will run the last show on November 20.

The last fashion weekend, taking place on Thursday 26, and Friday 27 November, will showcase a mix of casual clothing and sophisticated gowns for special occasions, including wedding dresses.

On November 26, Dutch premium casual clothes retailer, Scotch and Soda will kick off the fashion evening, followed by British retailer, Next showcasing their latest Fall/Winter collections for women, and men. Forever New & Quiz by Debenham, will present its latest collection during the last show of the day.

On Friday, November 27, Doha festival City will feature weddings and special occasion dresses with three star-studded retailers under the spotlight. Per Lei Couture, a multi-brand luxury boutique offering lavish dresses for special occasions will kick-start the evening by highlighting its latest collection. The iconic Spanish Rosa Clará will feature la crème de la crème of its newest wedding dresses and evening gowns collection.  Ciragan Dantel, the celebrated Turkish brand for luxury dresses will wrap-up the fashion day and showcase a stunning wedding dress as a show finale

The iconic British makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury will be the official makeup sponsor of the shows on November 12, November 19  and November 20. Benefit, the world-famous makeup specialist from San-Francisco, will offer elaborated looks for November 13th shows, and Maison de Joelle, Doha Festival City’s lavish haven of beauty and another official Fashion Month partner, will offer splendid makeup for the last two shows of the Fashion month on November 26th and 27th.

L’Eto and Patissez, Doha Festival City Fashion Month’s official catering partners, will concoct delicious bites, offered to Fashion Show invitees.

Doha Festival City opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 10pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am to 11pm. Children of all ages are now allowed to enter the mall. In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 127 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
