LIVING SKY HIGH

Birds-eye views, luxurious facilities, and home-to-be aspirations – enter Aleph Doha Residences, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Nestled in the outskirts of the upscale business and diplomatic district of West Bay, lies a towering luxury destination. The Aleph Doha Residences is the first of its kind in the Middle East under the Curio Collection brand – Hilton’s upper-upscale global portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts. It comprises of 240 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments in a skyscraper residential tower of 52 storeys. And when we say 52 storeys, we mean stunning views of the city’s skyline and shimmering blue Persian Gulf from every room. FACT’s Anzish Mirza went to scour the property and views herself, along with a five-star experience.

The lobby’s high ceilings give you an elated entrance, as you walk in under a cascading crystal ball chandelier. Stunning from every angle, it’s perfectly reminiscent of falling snow, the ideal glittering winter vibes this time of year. This is contrasted and set against warm wooden wall panels, giving you a perfect play of warm and cool tones. Before we take a peek into the rooms, we walk over to the Mondo Café, for some treats and drinks. The café boasts minimalist décor with vibrant splashes of colour, both in furniture and the food. The menu displays sumptuous vegetarian, vegan and free-range offerings and a 24/7 pantry; allowing guests to grab-and-go, work, or relax at any time of the day. Before heading sky-high in the elevators, we make sure to indulge in some delectable quick bites and a drink that can only be described as the perfect summer day. We’ll let you go and figure this one out for yourselves.

As we’re taken on a tour of the residences, we’re left star-struck as we move from the one-bedroom to two, to three, each more luxurious than the next. The rooms boast colour, life, class, and sophisticated designs; perfect for the lone professional and families alike. The residences are created by keeping the comfort and luxury of guests in mind. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows provide access to endless daylight or night skies, from every room in the apartments. There’s something about them that makes you want to sleep less and dream more. Especially as you lay or sit under the absorbing and aesthetic replicas of treasures from the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum, giving each room a distinct personality.

The art enthusiast in us is thrilled at this addition. The residences also host the highest indoor swimming pool in Doha on the 52nd floor, as well as a complete state-of-the-art gym and sauna. We were told that guests can swim with the sunrise and gym with the sunset. We’re sold! The recreational facilities give you the feeling of being on top of the world, well at least the city’s twinkling lights, and that’s good enough for us. We’ll see you at check-in. ✤
